The GTX2860R Gen II Supercore from Garrett comes with an improved ported shroud design for surge resistance, a 46mm redeveloped compressor wheel that was built with proprietary Garrett motion technology to reach maximum efficiency and produce mass flow that fits into a redesigned high flowing compressor housing.

All of these factors give the turbo the ability to provide up to a 20% performance boost over the first generation GTX Gen 1.
